bikes.

We are a full service bicycle shop. If your bicycle isn't working, we'll help fix it. If you just don't like the way your bicycle looks, we can help spiff it up. If you don't feel right on your bicycle, we'll check your fit. If you don't like the way it sounds, we can tighten it up and add a bell.

Our approach to bicycle service is a little different from what you might expect in the industry. Our first goal is to keep you riding, so we'll always look first to see if it's something that can be done on the spot, perhaps while you enjoy a tasty beverage (see below). Of course, if you have a more complex repair, or want something that isn't just a quick fix, we'll do that too. Our pro mechanic works on a schedule and will make sure your service is completed with utmost quality.

beer.

We combine a love of great craft beer with a dogma of local industry. Our tap lineup will constantly evolve and shift, with an emphasis on local production. We'll post an updated beer menu here and on our facebook pages so that you have some information on what to expect when visiting us.

In addition to our taps, we'll have a wide variety of beer in cans and some bottles. We emphasize our can collection for a few reasons: (1) we believe that cans allow a finer flavor retention than bottles and (2) cans are more efficient economically and environmentally on the supply chain. Our can/bottle collection will expand our selection of local craft beer, and allow "exotic" varieties from even further away or which are not available on tap.

coffee.

In the same vein, our coffee products emphasize high quality local roasting and a hands-on, gourmet brewing method. We seek to provide our customers with a diverse presentation of coffee beans from local roasters. Roasting is a lot like the beer brewing process: a variety of elements go into creating a final roast, such as the bean itself (and its source), the blending (or not) of the varieties, the roasting temperature, roasting duration, and so on. We will research and share information about the sources and roasts of our coffees, naturally with a lot of help from our roasters.

Roasting is only half the story of our product, however; a great deal of importance is placed on the brewing methods at our business. We will feature a hands-on brewing process, where beans are ground as close to serving as possible. We'll offer a variety of brewing methods to showcase the coffee, whether it's espresso, pour-over, french press or toddy, to name a few.
